While some are fortunate to have sufficient room in their bedrooms for a full-size makeup vanity table, many women are relegated to having to put on their makeup in their bathroom. Usually the lighting is better in the bathroom, but often there isn't a place to sit and apply makeup there.
Bathroom Makeup Vanity
If there is enough room in the bathroom for a full vanity table, they are typically of the smaller variety. Bathroom makeup vanities are usually just a small table with a mirror. Some do not even contain any drawers for storage, and end up with makeup bottles and brushes strewn across the top.
Bathroom Vanity Mirror
What many women do is simply install a vanity mirror in their bathroom. They use their bathroom counter as their table, and apply the makeup while standing, or leaning into the mirror. Vanity mirrors are typically two-sided, with one side having magnification. Some even have lighted edges, while others rely on the lights from the bathroom.
If using only a vanity mirror in the bathroom, be sure to look for one that is labeled a 'fog-free mirror', or 'fogless mirror' to make it usable immediately after a shower.
